Smoothie or smoothie bowl? It’s one of the questions we hear most often at Jo & The Sisters Morning Club. HiGuests walk in, look at the menu and ask us which one they should choose. Both start with fruit, and both are made to enjoy on the go. So what is the difference?
The answer lies in what you need from your breakfast. One is a light and refreshing drink, while the other is a more filling breakfast designed to keep you satisfied until lunch.
The smoothie for a light and refreshing start
A smoothie usually combines fruit, a creamy base such as almond milk or coconut yogurt, and extras like oats or chia seeds.
Choose a smoothie when you want:
A fresh, light start to the day
Something quick before a workout or a busy morning
Something to enjoy alongside another breakfast item
You can choose from five smoothies on our menu, each one in a 450 ml cup.
Blueberry Dream with coconut yogurt, homemade almond milk, banana, blueberries, cashews and oat flakes.

The smoothie bowl for a more filling breakfast
A smoothie bowl has a thicker base topped with granola, fruit and seeds, making it a more filling breakfast option.
